I’m so excited to share this post with you! I was driving to my daughter's home one afternoon when I saw this chair in front of her neighbor's house. The chair was not the prettiest chair, but it looked sturdy. I just had to stop and pick it up. Here is the chair as it was when I picked it up. I painted the chair Dove White from Benjamin Moore, Advance paint. I am really happy with this paint. It goes on with a lot of brush strokes and it scares you on how it looks while you are painting it on. After it dries, it smooths out nicely. The best part? I simply did two coats–no polyurethane needed! I did prime the chair first. After I painted the chair, I cut the material for upholstery. Finally after the painting was done and the material was all sewn, I placed my upholstery foam, covered and stapled the seat in a layer of batting, then finished with my fabric. Sorry, I lost the pictures of this part! I’m really kicking myself! I painted the chair rollers a bronze color. So glad that I did. Here is the finish chair. I placed it in a corner of my family room with an arm knitted throw I made. I’m loving the chair in the room. What do you think? Leave me a comment. Thank you for stopping by.
Stay strong and stay blessed!
